Belgravia Bespoke Light Fitted Study Desk

This pale desk fits into a narrow working space beside a window. Its broad side panel and shallow drawer fronts give the piece a simple fitted form with room for an office chair.

The close-up photograph records the textured inset and its border. This desk is a separate installation from the darker window desk in the Belgravia bedroom.

The desk uses pale grain surfaces and a compact drawer arrangement to fit a small working area beside the window. Its end panel provides a solid side to the furniture, while the central space remains clear for a chair. The close photograph shows a textured inset writing surface meeting the surrounding pale border. This material contrast is subtle in the room view but becomes the defining detail at the work surface, where the furniture is used and touched.

A fitted desk should provide enough depth for the intended work without overwhelming a compact room. The chair, drawer projection and nearby window treatment need to be considered together. A sample of the inset surface is useful for checking texture, cleaning and suitability for writing before the final finish is selected.
