A full-wall wine display

This Virginia Water project turns one wall of the room into a dedicated wine display with bottle storage arranged around a mirrored central section.

The dark cabinetry gives the installation a strong architectural presence while the mirror and lighting introduce depth and reflection.

The demanding part: repetition and alignment

Hundreds of bottle positions create a very regular visual grid, so shelf spacing and horizontal alignment need to stay consistent across the full elevation.

The central display section also has to sit precisely within that grid so it reads as part of the same composition.

Lighting and reflective surfaces

Integrated lighting highlights the bottle storage and central glass shelves, making the display readable without relying on general room lighting.

The mirrored centre increases the sense of depth and reflects the surrounding room back through the joinery.

The finished result

The completed wine room combines storage, display and decorative lighting within one fitted elevation.
