Bespoke Low Eaves Cabinet with Top Grille

This pale cabinet sits against the low wall below a rooflight. Framed doors and a projecting top distinguish it from the separate recessed eaves cupboard elsewhere in the project.

The overall view shows the grille along the top, paired handles and the junction with the surrounding skirting. These details give the compact piece a finished furniture appearance within the sloping room.

The low cabinet sits against the eaves wall below a rooflight. Framed pale doors and small metallic handles give it the appearance of a compact piece of traditional fitted furniture. A grille is visible in the top surface. The low profile keeps the cabinetry below the changing ceiling height. The shallow ceiling height makes the relationship between cabinet height and the roof slope central to the design.

Where a cabinet includes a grille, the required airflow and access should be specified for its actual contents or services. The grille opening is not a substitute for a technical requirement. A site survey should also establish the usable space behind the frontage before the door dimensions and internal construction are agreed.
