Project case study

Design, fitting and craftsmanship details

Dark fitted bathroom cupboards shaped beneath a sloping ceiling, with internal shelving, textured fronts and warm metallic handles.

  • Cupboard front follows the roof slope
  • Dark textured cabinet faces
  • Internal open shelving
  • Contrasting metallic handles

Storage shaped around the room

The cupboard elevation fills the low end of the bathroom, stepping down with the sloping ceiling at the left. Its dark finish contrasts with the pale walls and sits alongside the bath and vanity.

Closed fronts and accessible shelves

The closed and open views show how the doors conceal a series of shelves. A wider room photograph establishes the cabinet’s position, while the handle detail shows the texture and contrast of the finished fronts.

Finishes and furniture details

The fitted cupboards follow the low edge of the bathroom roof slope. Dark, strongly textured fronts form a continuous bank beneath a broad top rail, with the left edge shaped to the angle above. Open photographs show a series of internal shelves behind the doors. A close view records the warm metallic pulls against the textured grain, while the wider room view places the storage beside the bath and vanity. The cabinetry uses a low wall that would otherwise be difficult to furnish with standard cupboards.

Planning similar fitted furniture

Storage below a bathroom slope needs both a precise survey and a material specification appropriate to moisture exposure. Shelf access and door clearance must remain practical at the lowest point. Plumbing, ventilation and any concealed services should be identified before the cabinet depth and fixing arrangement are decided.
