A dedicated fitted wine cellar

This Fulham project uses dark fitted cabinetry to create a dedicated wine-storage room with bottle racks arranged around a central display section.

The vertical proportions and repeated bottle positions give the installation a strong architectural character while keeping the collection organised and visible.

The demanding part: repeated geometry

Wine storage relies on consistent spacing across a large number of repeated compartments. Small variations in the diamond racks or vertical bottle divisions would become increasingly visible across the full elevation.

The central niche also needs to remain accurately aligned with the surrounding storage so the wall reads as one complete composition.

Lighting and display

Integrated lighting highlights the bottle storage and creates contrast against the dark cabinetry.

The illuminated central niche provides a visual break within the repeated wine-rack pattern and adds depth to the room.

The finished result

The completed wine cellar combines high-capacity bottle storage, display and integrated lighting within a compact fitted room.
