A fitted wine cellar centred on display and storage

This wine cellar at the Esher residence combines full-height bottle storage with a central illuminated display area and a compact table-and-bar arrangement.

The fitted joinery uses the full wall height so wine storage and display remain integrated rather than appearing as separate racks.

The demanding part: coordinating bottle storage and display

Wine storage requires repeated shelf spacing while the central section also needs to accommodate display objects, serving space and refrigeration below.

Accurate setting out keeps the bottle racks, illuminated shelves and central mirrored area aligned across the complete elevation.

Lighting, mirror and refrigeration

Integrated lighting emphasises the bottle storage and central shelves, while the reflective backing increases depth through the middle of the room.

Under-counter refrigeration is incorporated below the serving area so the functional equipment remains part of the fitted scheme.

The finished result

The completed room combines wine storage, display and serving functions within one fitted interior.
