Manchester Make-Up Island & Dressing Table

This Manchester project combines a central make-up island with a separate dressing table, using the same light figured timber finish so the two pieces read as one coordinated furniture scheme.

The island adds storage and a practical central surface, while the dressing table creates a dedicated preparation area against the wall.

Both pieces are visually simple, so proportion and alignment carry much of the finished character. Drawer fronts, panel lines and edge details need to remain consistent across the separate items.

The central island also has to sit comfortably within the circulation space rather than interrupting movement through the dressing room.

The island incorporates drawer storage below a generous top surface, keeping smaller dressing-room items accessible while preserving a clean exterior.

The matching dressing table provides a second work surface and additional storage without introducing a competing material or style.

The completed furniture adds practical storage and dedicated preparation areas while maintaining the same material language as the wider Manchester dressing-room scheme.
